shameless: fiona

(no subject)

Quickie TV post, cause I have got to go to bed before 3.30 tonight atleast. Yes, 3.30AM - I'm setting realistic goals for myself.

BTW, random question: Is there a poll/award/battle for ships like there is with FMM? I feel pretty strongly it would be in everyone's best interests that there was. Or atleast mine.

Shameless: [Spoiler (click to open)]Man, they're solving problems FAST this season. Things I would have thought they'd spend atleast half the season on is wrapped up in an episode or two! Makes me wonder what kind of nuclear bomb they have stocked up for the finale, you'd think they would have run out of ways to torture these kids by now, or ways for them to awesomely deal with whatever shit they're thrown. Seriously, Debbie and Fiona especially, I cannot handle them getting any more awesome - I love them so much. I'm just shooting daggers at Jimmy through the screen because he DOES NOT FUCKING DESERVE THIS FAMILY, not for one more second, and when he was all "we're Gallaghers" I just wanted to smack his stupid face because NO. NO YOU ARE NOT. Ugh, Fiona deserves so much better. I don't even think the guy exists that deserves her, but it sure as shit ain't JimmySteve. And I'm sorry for the salty language - and for using the term "salty language" - but at the risk of sounding like Tumblr: I just have a lot of feelings about this show okay? *FEELS-gif*

I really liked the nice scene with Lip and Fiona, and Carl poisoning Patrick (hey, it WAS on the list!) and also digging Frank's new platonic boyfriend - seems like the perfect relationship, in a murderer/suicidal person type of way. Did not like Karen being her usual awful self - I wanted her to come back and be better, not exactly the same - and the whole Down's Syndrome storyline with Shiela (mostly because I can't stand Shiela anymore), but it did raise an interesting issue about disparaging words.

The Walking Dead: [Spoiler (click to open)]Huge step down from last week, I was not happy the moment I realized that oh yeah, now we have to go back to that whole awful mess of Woodbury and the Governor. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but it was really boring for the most part. The only real highlights were the conversations between the two sides - Rick and the Gov excluded. Daryl and that henchman guy, Milton and Hershel, those were conversations I wanted to see more of. I also really wanted someone to just lock that damned barn (or whatever) and tell Rick and the Govenor to work it out on their own, and if that ends with both of them dead then that's totally okay because they're both crazier than a bag of cats and everyone's better off without them. Damnit if I don't agree with Merle that they should have just stormed the place...
Also: IF RICK HANDS OFF MICHONNE THEN I WILL HUNT HIM DOWN AND KILL HIM MYSELF, FICTIONAL CHARACTER OR NOT. HOW'S THAT FOR TALKING YOU OUT OF IT, COWBOY-SHERIFF-DUDE? DON'T YOU DARE.

[Minor Brave spoilers]I also watched Brave yesterday and it was ... good, I guess, but not nearly as good as I thought it would be? Amazingly pretty though, I spent most of the movie in awe of the animation and how gorgeous everything was, especially the scenery and Merida's hair (if I didn't already suffer from ginger-envy...). I was expecing and hoping for more archery though, and it got really sentimental to the point of cheesy several times. The triplets were obviously ace, though.

I have 1194 gifs in my folder.

Yes, really.
